I am amazed at some of our AsiaLink workers and partners who persistently continue to minister when their very lives could be at risk. So why should this week be any different?
Earlier last month a Muslim university student in the northwestern Pakistan city of Mardan, was accused of blasphemy after conversing over religion in the university cafeteria.
That attracted a crowd that grew to several hundred people, who then kicked in the door of the student’s dorm room, dragging him outside where he was shot and beaten to death. It later turned out that there was no evidence that he had blasphemed against Islam’s prophet.
ISIS SUICIDE ATTACK STOPPED JUST IN TIME
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s military shared that they had detained a young 19 year old women who had been recruited by the Islamic State to carry out a suicide attack against a Christian church over the Easter weekend.
In the midst of this chaotic atmosphere where the mere hint of blasphemy is ever present for Christians… an incredible opportunity for ministry is taking place to help reach this nation.

Amazingly, Bro. Hamid, our Pakistan AsiaLink Director who lives and minsters in central Pakistan, wrote to share that despite all these things taking place they are still planning a Youth Evangelism Conference on May 12th – 13th.
The purpose of this conference is to teach Pakistani Christian young people how to do evangelism in a safe manner in this Muslim country. We are expecting several hundred young adults to attend. The visionary theme for the conference is Evangelism in The Here and Now.
We need your help to sponsor this conference to make it as accessible for those who financially can’t attend.
For just $12 you can sponsor a young person providing food, accommodation and the incredible training they will receive.
Why sponsor one when you can sponsor 5 or 10!
This is a life-changing opportunity, in the midst of turmoil, for you to touch the Muslim world with the love of Christ! Thank you in advance.
Thank you in advance.
